Welcome to the Cardiff Branch of Cats Protection.

The Cardiff Branch of Cats Protection rescues and rehomes unwanted, abandoned stray cats in the Cardiff and surrounding areas.

We also help with neutering costs to owners who are on benefit and cannot afford to have their cats neutred.  Please telephone us on 029203691238 if you need help.

COULD YOU BE A FOSTERER.

DO YOU HAVE SPARE TIME AND WOULD LIKE TO LOOK AFTER OUR CATS WHILE THEY ARE WAITING TO BE RE HOMED.

I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR FOSTERERS TO CARE FOR OUR CATS BOTH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR.  IF YOU HAVE A LARGE ENOUGH SPACE IN YOUR GARDEN I HAVE A DOUBLE CATTERY PEN AVAILABLE.  IF YOU FOSTER INDOORS AND HAVE YOUR OWN PET YOU NEED TO HAVE A SPARE ROOM TO KEEP OUR PET SEPARATE FROM YOURS.

We supply the food and everything needed for the Cats Protection cat. We pay fosterers any out of pocket expenses for taking the cat to the vet.

VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for all types of Volunteers to help our Branch.  If you have spare time and would like to help us raise funds for our cats please telephone our Helpline and leave your details.

The vacancies currently available are -

FUNDRAISING OFFICER.  The position involves organising fundraisiing events and looking for new venues in order to raise money for the Branch.  We are also lookisng for volunteers to help us on our Fundraising Days.  This could be 'can rattling' outside supermarkets or serving goods at our Branch Fairs.

We need people who are reliable and have their own transport to travel to these events as sometimes they are out of town.

HOMEVISITNG.  We are looking for volunteers who would like to visit people who are interested in adopting our cats to ensure that the homes are suitable and safe as our main concern is the welfare of the cats.
